It’s April, and spring is definitely in the air. Beautiful Mind visited Gabriel’s house, residential facilities for severely disabled people, located in Huam-dong, Yongsan-gu last Tuesday the 19th of April. We were with 9 volunteers in total who came for practicing love. The volunteers who participated in the volunteering work first through Beautiful Action started in earnest volunteering activity after attending the orientation.
The members of Gabriel’s house went out with spring in the air in a place of a variety of flowers in full bloom thanks to the nice weather so the volunteers could do a thorough cleaning of the house, even the spots which couldn’t be cleaned normally.
It was more fruitful volunteering start for the members of Gabriel’s house than any other day. All volunteers were happy to do the volunteering work thinking of the members of Gabriel’s house even though it would be a little tough work. Time passed quickly as we’ve done the volunteering work having a chat.
There was a mini concert which couldn’t be done at the visit of last February. It was started with guitar playing, the members of Gabriel’s house’s favorite, followed by a duet of beautiful chords, and great performance continued. There would be no such pleasure to see the excited members of Gabriel’s house. They are more joy and encouragement rather than people who need to be cared and helped. We finished up Beautiful Action of April promising to meet again with the members of Gabriel’s house. Thank you to all of the volunteers to get participated in although they’re busy, and all interested parties of Gabriel’s house for the help. We hope the members of Gabriel’s house were happy with Beautiful Mind as much as we felt happy and rewarded.
