Last Tuesday, 15th March, Beautiful Mind volunteers visited Food Sharing Movement Headquarters located in Dapsimni-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. 5 volunteers of Beautiful Mind gathered and carried on activity with sunny and clear early spring after the freezing sudden frost.

The volunteers arrived at 9 a.m., and attended the orientation which provided with schedule and guidance notes. They divided the work for more efficient volunteering work. They carried on volunteering work gladly thinking about elders who will smile with a hot meal, even though it was hard to split up the work as there were fewer volunteers than usual.

They prepared, and washed bean sprouts and seasoned cabbage to boost elders’ appetite refreshingly. Substantial egg rolls were also cooked and served by the volunteers. Particularly on this Beautiful Action, Pulmuone Lohas Academy contributed organic rice 200kg to Food Sharing Movement Headquarters through Beautiful Mind.

After finishing a meal, finally the warm spring breeze to beat the cold circled at the corner of the elders’ mouth. Every volunteer made a clean finish like putting leftovers away, washing-up, and cleaning up, etc., after distribution of food.
