BMC held a celebration event in commemoration of 7th anniversary of BMC. For this event, there were many people came such as board of directors, players, BMC music academy teachers and students and their families who have been giving their affections to BMC and participated in BMC’s works for last 7 years. During the dinner time, we celebrated the 7th birthday of BMC while reminding the memories and stories of BMC’s sharing with neglected neighbors all over the world.
After dinner, we had a meaningful occasion that donating instrumental sponsorship for the first time in BMC history and held a mini concert. From this sponsorship, the student Ye I-won from Hope class received a violin and the student Kim Min-ju received a cello bow hoping remarkable progress of their playing. We gave big applause to the students showed great performance with new instruments. Also, there was flute duet performance by the student Im Ye-young and the teacher Jo Sun-rang along with the teacher Kim Joo-young’s accompaniment, solo soprano singing by the teacher Yun Jung-in and solo clarinet playing by the teacher Lee Sang-jae. These beautiful performances made the event warmer and we shared joyfulness. After these performances, the presentation ceremony of grant by Heart chamber orchestra for visually impaired leaded by the teacher Lee sang-jae was held at the event. Also we had the time to introduced new participants to everyone and finished the event very happily. We want to express our appreciation to those who participated in the 7th anniversary celebration and who have sent their encouragement and celebration to BMC.
