Mar. Beautiful Action_Bobfor team Beautiful sharing inviting warm spring
On March 19th the day with scent of spring, behind of winter, BMC had Beautiful action of March at Bobfor team. Volunteers gathered early in the morning. After the short greeting to each other, they had orientation on the 2nd floor of Babfor team. They were informed of order for volunteering such as 1st part of ‘cleaning ingredient and cooking’, 2nd part of ‘delivering meal’ 3rd part of ‘cleaning’ and decided the part as they wished. They started volunteering for this month after handed over aprons and headscarfs and finished all the preparing.
The team of ‘squid fry’ did their best to make delicious side dishes while putting various vegetables and squid into fry pen and seasoning it. Other side, volunteers spent 1st part of volunteering cleaning potatoes and bean sprouts. As we saw their joyful face and their efforts, they looked more beautiful.
As the 11 o’clock came soon, the volunteers stood at the positions followed their duties of 2nd part of volunteering. After delivering food trays, they finished preparing to distribute meal standing in front of rice, soup and side dishes hygienically. There were lots of elders so we couldn’t see the end of line. And we started distribution exactly at 11 o’clock for the elders who were waiting for a long time.
It was also volunteers’ duty that divided meal into exact amount for 800 to 1000 of elders. The amount of tray was limited so it had to be cleaned at the same time the volunteers served meal to make distribution more smoothly. Also volunteers had to care the cleanness of not only trays and the food for elders. The volunteers completed all the duties while cheering each other with smiley face. They expressed gladness on their face when elders were going after finished their meals with satisfaction.
For the last, volunteers cleaned dishes and place to keep the place clean so it could be a great cafeteria for elders on next time. Also they delivered 12 sacks of rice contained heart of BMC wishing the rice can be helpful for the one meal of elders. Through the Beautiful action containing sharing and sincerity of BMC, we hope many of them could have warm spring.
