The 1st Beautiful Mind Singapore Music Academy Concert

This past May 9th the first Beautiful Mind Music Academy Concert took place in Love Hall of Singapore Korean church. Singapore Music Academy started off with three students from its first audition in January 2014, and now there are seven disabled students who are chasing their goals as musicians. Since it was the first concert ever, everyone—teachers, students, and parents—dedicate their energy to this very first event. 

Before each student performed on stage, videos of the student’s audition, interview and lesson were shown on the screen. Ensembles, duet, trio and more came after solo pieces from the piano, violin, flute and cello.

Especially, two students (violin and flute), who just started learning their instruments for the first time this year, received rapturous applauses from approximately 380 people. For their three-months-long lesson, the stages were sensational.

As a finale, all the teachers of Beautiful Mind Singapore Music Academy and Beautiful Mind Singapore (BMS) Ensemble performed “Amazing Grace.” The stage mesmerized the audience.

Through this concert, we could see how proud the parents were seeing their children shine on stage. We hope students of Singapore Music Academy will deliver love and hope to many others in the future.
