Last Tuesday, the 24th, BMC visited 'Gabriel's House' as February's Beautiful Action. Even though they shivered due to the cold, volunteers happily entered Gabriel's House to practice love. After listening to an orientation speech from the Director of Gabriel's House, the volunteers sat together in the yard to trim food for the "treasures"(severely disabled people who dwell in Gabriel's House). Volunteers vacuum-cleaned and mopped the floors, brushed thick layers of dust on the window sill and took care of the babies. Since volunteers have visited the place in the past, they all knew what to do before they were told. Staffs at the Gabriel's House were extremely touched after seeing the new volunteers treating the "treasures" with great affection and utmost sincerity. It was truly a touching moment for everyone. The Director thanked all the volunteers for preparing dinner and sharing love to the "treasures." Looking forward to our next rendezvous in the Spring, we happily ended the community service.
