Beautiful Mind’s Beautiful Action of September was a visit to ‘Gabriel’s House’, a place where love and warmth exist. Gabriel’s House is a welfare facility for the severely disabled located in Hu-ahm-dong in Yongsan-gu. On a breezy, autumn-like day, the Gabriel’s House family greeted the volunteers of Beautiful Mind.

For this month’s community service, the volunteers sat together in the yard to trim food for the family, such as peeling garlic and pluming dried radish greens.
Meanwhile, Korea Adiation Music Education Research Institute specially joined Beautiful Mind to visit Gabriel’s House to perform a musical play, ‘Hey, It’s Raining.’ When the play began with the audie teacher’s voice, the disabled family solely concentrated on the show and responded by singing along or swaying to the song.

When the play ended, volunteers cleaned the facility and fed the family with affection and utmost sincerity. It was truly a touching moment; the volunteers felt thankful to be able to help someone.

Even if they were unable to communicate through words, the volunteers could share their hearts and spend time with the disabled. We thank all the Beautiful Mind volunteers, everyone at the Gabriel’s House and last but not least, Korea Audiation Music Education Research Institute for donating their talent.
